Leadership
that shows up.
Peter Burgelis is running for Congress to bring practical, accountable leadership to Washington, and real results home to southeastern Wisconsin.
Help us launch this campaign.
Peter understands the challenges working families face. He knows what it's like to work hard, make ends meet, and fight for a voice. That's why he's running for Congress. But this is a tough, competitive race, and early support is critical.
Chip in now to help launch this campaign and reach voters across Wisconsin's 1st District.
Why I'm running
"When something isn't right, we don't just complain. We step up and get to work."
Across Southeast Wisconsin, I hear the same thing from voters: costs are rising, paychecks aren't keeping up, and working families are being squeezed. I've spent years knocking on doors and listening, and what people want most is someone who will actually fight for them.
And they're right. Too many politicians in Washington answer to insiders instead of the people, and no one is being held accountable. That has real consequences, not just for our communities, but for our democracy.
Southeast Wisconsin deserves leaders who are willing to stand up to the people in power, hold Washington accountable, and protect our country's future.
I've spent my career working hard, helping families achieve homeownership, running a small business, and serving my community. I know what it's like when people don't have a voice, and I've built a reputation for listening and turning those concerns into action.
This is a tough race. This campaign is about lowering costs, holding Washington accountable, and delivering for Southeast Wisconsin.
Let's get to work.
About Peter
Peter's career has been shaped by one simple idea: when people work hard, they deserve someone who will stand up for them.
He's seen firsthand how rising costs and broken systems make it harder for families to get ahead. Peter spent years helping families achieve homeownership, guiding first-time buyers through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
Earlier in his career, he ran a nonprofit organization and owned a restaurant. These experiences taught him what it takes to meet a payroll, support a community, and make something grow.
Today, as an Alderman, Peter has built a reputation for listening first, getting things done, and holding government accountable to the people it serves. He's focused on the issues people talk about every day, including public safety, road and infrastructure repairs, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly.
Peter has knocked on thousands of doors across Southeast Wisconsin, hearing directly from voters about rising costs, safer neighborhoods, and the need for leadership that actually shows up and delivers.
